Key Findings for July 2026
July continued June's reshuffle, but this time Health fell out of the top spot entirely. Family took over as the #1 value by appearance rate (37.8%, +3.6%) while also leading the "Top 1" ranking (12.4%, +8.1%). Health tumbled seven places to 8th (25.4%, -30.4%), extending its two-month collapse and posting the steepest "Top 1" decline of any value (-48.3%).
Alongside Health, the "certainty" cluster kept sliding. Peace (-23.7%) dropped from 4th to 10th, Financial stability (-23.7%) fell from 3rd to 6th with its "Top 1" share down -31.0%, and Trust (-17.7%) slipped from 7th to 9th. Certainty (-30.8%), Security (-25.6%), Control (-25.1%), Wealth (-18.2%), Job security (-18.1%) and Discipline (-18.0%) all extended the retreat, while Pleasure posted the sharpest decline of any tracked value for the second month running (-46.0%).
In their place, relational and purpose-driven values consolidated their gains. Growth climbed four ranks to 2nd (37.0%, +17.0%), with its "Top 1" rate up +33.4%. Love rose to 3rd (35.7%, +9.0%, Top 1 +15.8%), Friendship jumped five ranks to 4th (+14.1%), and Loyalty surged eight ranks to 7th (+17.1%, Top 1 +26.5%). Further down the table, purpose-oriented values grew fastest in relative terms: Popularity (+51.3%), Contribution (+49.9%), Excellence (+34.6%), Spirituality (+32.8%), Competence (+29.0%) and Passion (+27.7%).
Ultimately, July confirmed and deepened June's "Purpose over Comfort" pivot rather than reversing it. Health's slide from #1 to 8th place in just two months stands as the sharpest reversal of the year so far, while Family, Growth and Love consolidated their hold on the top of the rankings, cementing relational and purpose-driven values as the defining story of the summer.
